Artist Statement

AN IDEA OR A FEELING REQUIRING EXPRESSION IS THE SPARK THAT BETH GETS WHEN SHE WISHES TO DEVELOP A WORK OF ART.

Beth says that enthusiasm and energy for all the possibilities of life are what I wish to be conveyed to the viewer. She believes that color communicates as the visual realm exists beyond the reach of languate.

Beth Baker is a founding member and currently secretary of Artists of Palm Beach County, founding member and curator for Century Village Artists, and a member of Lake Worth Art League.

Beth Baker has exhibited from California to Florida. Her artwork is owned in private collections from coast to coast. A book for her paintings called Artistic Beth is available through www.blurb.com

Leased Corporate Work

Beth is most proud to have two of her large acrylic abstract paintings, THREADS and CINNAMON, chosen from a large group of talented artists and leased for a year by Scripps Research and hung in their new Jupiter, Florida facilities.
These paintings will be available for sale in early 2009.

Please see my website to view these paintings.

Exhibitions

Beth has work currently in the Civic Center of Boynton Beach, Boynton Beach Library, and the main clubhouse of Century Village, West Palm Beach. Beth was part of the invitational inaugural exhibit of LK Mix Gally located on Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, and her future works will be displayed for sale by this gallery. Beth's work has been part of many other shows in galleries, civic center, libraries, and schools.
