With the over-use of pesticides,garden insects such as this 2.5" dragonfly are disappearing. Bye-Bye Dragonfly was done to draw attention to the garden insect's plight.

The Conure is a miniature parrot found in Mexico and Central America. The Cinnamon Cheek is just one of many types of Conures. In the painting,I have placed the the birds in a tropical setting to show how they might look in the wild.
