Artists of Palm Beach County
Our Mon, Nov 14th, 2011
General Meeting
started at 7:00pm and ended at 9:00pm

The meeting was hosted by Ronn Perry.

The theme of the meeting was:

During the course of her life, Carolyn Nelson has been an artist, teacher, fine art conservator, and weaver, as well as an art therapist to the cognitively impaired. Carolyn is well recognized globally for both her art and her humanitarian efforts. Carolyn is also the Florida State Director for Paint, an activity that involves painting and dancing to music without critique, the proceeds of which go to charity. Carolyn will do a paint dancing demonstration at this meeting, and all are invited and encouraged to participate. Carolyn asked that we wear comfortable clothes that can go into the washer after the event.

CLICK HERE to read about Carolyn Nelson in an article published last July by Maxine Schreiber, an APBC member who is the West Palm Beach Fine Art Examiner for Her article gives more background on Carolyn and her achievements. Carolyn presently has an exhibition of her work on display at the Department of Families and Children Services (Palm Beach County), 111 South Sapodilla Street, West Palm Beach FL 33401.
