The program that lets you view our current Newsletter on this web page is called iPaper. It's published by a company called Scribed. MENU BAR The menu bar at the top of the iPaper window is what you use to control the functions of this program.
PRINT THE NEWSLETTER The iPaper" pull down menu at the left end of the menu bar allows you to print the newsletter as well as other choices. MAGNIFY YOUR VIEW OF THE NEWSLETTER By clicking on the "+" or "-" symbols, (or using the slider under the magnifying glass symbol you can magnify or shrink the size of the newsletter in it's window. VIEW THE NEWSLETTER FULL SCREEN Clicking on the last icon on the right end of the menu bar allows the you to view the newsletter full screen in a new Browser window. SEARCH THE NEWSLETTER The search box near the right end of the menu bar allows you to search the newsletter for specific text. Just enter the text that you want to find and the text that's found will be highlighted for you. Clicking on the next popup or the right facing arrow will search for the next occurrence of your search term. You can narrow down your search by entering multiple words in your search. COPY AND PASTE TEXT INTO ANOTHER DOCUMENT Click on the "I" symbol just to the left of the search box and you can highlight, copy and paste text, or links from the newsletter into another document or into your browser. Sorry, the copy and paste commands won't work for images. THE LOWER LEFT CORNER When you click on the symbol at the lower left corner of the screen, you'll open a menu bar that contains other documents that Scribd thinks that you'll find interesting. There's no telling what you'll find, but If you don't want to see the window anymore,.just click in the symbol again to close the menu. |
