CAROL-ANN SALLEY
Carol-Ann Salley is a photorealism acrylic painter known for her tranquil, light-infused seascapes and nature-inspired works. Her paintings often prompt the question, “Is that a photograph?”—a testament to her extraordinary attention to detail and ability to capture fleeting moments with precision and soul.
Drawing inspiration from the peaceful rhythm of the ocean and the quiet elegance of wildlife, Carol-Ann’s work blends technical mastery with emotional resonance. She often explores themes of stillness, light, and memory, inviting viewers into calm, sun-washed spaces that evoke reflection and presence.
Though deeply rooted in realism, her compositions are guided by a love for Impressionist atmosphere and the imaginative nuances of Surrealism. This gives her paintings a sense of depth that extends beyond accuracy—they feel lived-in.
Carol-Ann's work is sought after for fine interiors and high-end coastal spaces. She accepts commissions and collaborates with designers to create custom pieces that harmonize with modern coastal aesthetics.
She lives and paints along the southeastern coast of the U.S., where the sea is never far from view.
